Vetted, trusted resources — because adulting is hard.

I'm Chelsea — a business lawyer, massive research nerd, and the friend who already has 30 browser tabs open so you don't have to.

I dig into the fine print on the services and tools that make adulting easier, give you the honest breakdown on why I chose certain services, softwares or products, so you can make a decision you feel good about and move on with your life.

Life is more complicated for us than any previous generation.

You already know you need to look into health coverage, life insurance, a will, a budget — all of it. You don't need another person telling you what to do. You need someone who's already done the research, read the fine print, and will answer the questions you're actually asking.

That's what I do.

  • I vet the options
  • break down the details
  • and help you decide what's right for your situation

…so you can finally check it off the list and stop losing sleep over it.

Most importantly, I share why I did or didn't choose something — so you have real context to compare to your own life. What worked for me might not be right for you, but you'll walk away with way more clarity than you'd get from random reviews or generic comparison lists.

Why People Trust My Research

I'm not a coach, a guru, or a financial advisor. I'm a research buddy — the friend who reads the fine print and then helps you understand why and how to move forward.

I read the fine print

I'm literally a lawyer. I actually read the terms, the member guidelines, and the stuff most people skip. Then I translate it into plain English with real examples.

I'll tell you when it's not for you

I only recommend things I personally use. And if something won't work for your situation — age, health history, budget — I'll point that out. Credibility matters more than anything to me.

I get why this feels hard

I'm neurodivergent (AuDHD), a mom, and I manage every financial and logistical decision for my family. I know what it's like to have 30 tabs open and still feel stuck. You're not behind — this stuff is genuinely complicated.

How Decide With Chelsea Started

It all started with texts. Friends asking me which life insurance I went with, how I found our health coverage, whether that budgeting app was actually worth it. I'd send back a novel — links, screenshots, pros and cons, the whole breakdown. Because that's just how my brain works.

Eventually I realized it wasn't just my friend group. A lot of us are out here quietly Googling the same overwhelming decisions, reading the same useless comparison articles, and still not feeling confident enough to pull the trigger.

So I started sharing what I'd already researched — and people started actually doing the thing.
